Advertisement According to TEAMtalk, in order to be able to afford Mbappe’s wages, the Reds wouldn’t mind parting ways with Salah. The Egypt international currently earns £350,000 per week, being the club’s highest earner by far. Salah attracted interest from the Saudi Pro League this past summer, with one club sending a £150 million offer for the 31-year-old player. Liverpool rejected the proposal at the time but might be tempted to think about it if Mbappe proves to be a viable target.
Mbappe was linked with a move to La Liga’s powerhouse Real Madrid for a while now, but recent reports from Spain indicate that the Spanish club isn’t interested in the player anymore. Reportedly, Real wants to move away from its strategy of overspending and would rather focus on younger and more affordable additions.
Liverpool is interested in signing French star forward Kylian Mbappe, according to reports from English media. The Premier League side is so keen on the move that they would reportedly be willing to move on from their talisman Mohamed Salah in order to make it happen.
Mbappe is set to become a free agent in the summer, meaning that Liverpool wouldn’t have to pay a transfer fee for him. However, the 24-year-old player would likely demand a contract that makes him the highest-paid player at the club and perhaps the league.
