Liverpool will hope to have plenty of young players at their disposal when Jurgen Klopp faces Union Saint-Giloise in their final Europa League group game on Thursday. The Reds won Group E to escape the knockout stages and progress to the last 16, allowing Jurgen Klopp to replace the dead rubber in Belgium. However, USG have the potential to see Toulouse through to the knockout stages, meaning Klopp expects a very tight game.”We’re going to have a good team and we’re going to have a team that’s ready for the Union to put up a good fight,” he said during a question-and-answer session for fans Monday night.

“This is what everyone can expect from us and what we do. It is good for many things and good for rhythm. “We won our group but we still want three points.”But Klopp confirmed he will “rotate” the squad, with the Premier League leaders hosting Manchester United on Sunday, ahead of meetings with West Ham and Arsenal before Christmas. That could mean opportunities for Ben Doak and Conor Bradley, while James McConnell and Kaide Gordon have also been included in selections in recent days.

Mohamed Salah is a candidate for a break as he has played in all but one of Liverpool’s games this season. Alexis McAllister is questionable and unlikely to be in danger unless he fully recovers from a knee injury that required stitches.
