Liverpool are, without question, one of the great clubs in European football. With all that history, it’s even more impressive then that current number 11 Mohamed Salah ranks as the club’s all-time top scorer in European competitions. The Egyptian winger has racked up 43 goals in just 69 appearances since his debut back in 2017, with a strike rate of a goal every 1.6 games on the continent.
Though not in the Champions League this season, Salah has the chance to extend his lead at the top of the Reds’ charts even further this season, with Jurgen Klopp and co tipped to go deep in the Europa League.
Only Real Madrid and AC Milan can boast more Champions League (or European cup) titles than Liverpool’s six, while the Reds have also lifted the Europa League (or UEFA Cup) on three occasions.
