Liverpool’s Salah sends message to Egyptians after returning from AFCON

Egypt striker Mohamed Salah has vowed to do his best to prepare for the final stages of the AFCON. Salah will miss playing for his country at the mid-season winter tournament. Salah returned to Liverpool to recover from an injury sustained in the group stage match against Ghana.

Salah wrote on his Twitter page, translated from Arabic to English: “Yesterday I started a treatment and rehabilitation program and I will do my best to complete it as quickly as possible and allow me to return to the national team as was originally agreed upon.

“I like people too…just try harder.””Our target is the same as Egypt,” Reds manager Jurgen Klopp told reporters. Get your health back as quickly as possible. If a player gets injured, we will help him. All parties agreed that it would be appropriate for him to undergo rehabilitation here.

There’s still a bit of a season left, so I hope it’s a good season. “But if he recovers early and Egypt still participates in the tournament, he will withdraw. We will not discuss the rest of what others say.” We all need to know. Sorry if I said this earlier. This was not an intentional error. “We didn’t know the situation at the time,” he said.
