The Reds will face off again as World Cup qualifying continues in South America. Luis Diaz will join Alisson Becker’s Colombia squad for the home qualifier against Brazil in Barranquilla on November 16 before traveling to Paraguay in Asuncion on November 21.
Alisson and the Selecao face rivals Argentina and Liverpool’s Alexis McAllister at the Maracana in Rio de Janeiro on November 21.
McAllister will also be included in Argentina’s squad for their home match against Darwin Nunes’ Uruguay in Buenos Aires on November 16, while Nunez’s side play Bolivia in Montevideo on November 21.
Mohamed Salah will play for Egypt in two World Cup qualifiers. The Pharaohs host Djibouti in Cairo on November 16 before traveling to Sierra Leone on November 19.
Wataru Endo will also captain Japan in the 2026 qualifiers at home against Myanmar (November 16) and Syria (November 21). The final will be held in Saudi Arabia.
Diogo Jota has now been called up to Portugal’s national team for the 2024 European Championship qualifiers. They will play Liechtenstein away on November 16 and Iceland at home on November 19 with the aim of building a perfect record in the qualifiers.
Dominik Szoboslai will lead the Hungarian national team in the qualifying rounds of the European Championship.
Szoboslai’s men visit Bulgaria on November 16 and play Montenegro on November 19. A win at both events will guarantee a place at next summer’s tournament.
Trent Alexander-Arnold has been included in England’s squad for the qualifiers. Gareth Southgate’s side, who advanced to the final, will play a home game against Malta at Wembley on November 17 before traveling to North Macedonia on November 20.
Cody Gakpo and Virgil van Dijk have joined the Netherlands squad for the crucial qualifiers against Caoimhin Kelleher’s Republic of Ireland in Amsterdam on November 18 and Gibraltar on November 21.
Kelleher and his teammates face New Zealand in a friendly in Dublin on November 21. Kostas Tsimikas, who recorded back-to-back assists in Sunday’s win over Brentford, will be part of Greece’s squad to lead the Netherlands into qualification.
They play their first friendly against New Zealand on November 17 and then face France in Athens on November 21.
At U21 level, Harvey Elliott, Jarrell Quanza and on-loan midfielder Tyler Morton are in England’s squad for the Under 21 European qualifiers in Serbia (November 18) and Northern Ireland (November 21).
Luke Chambers is in the U20 squad ahead of the match against Italy (November 16) before traveling to Germany (November 20). Calum Scanlon is part of the U19 squad for three matches in Marbella against Romania (November 15), Japan (November 18) and Mexico (November 21).
Ben Doak is in the Scotland U21 squad for the U21 Euro qualifiers against Belgium (November 17) and Hungary (November 21), while goalkeeper Marcelo Pitaluga is in Brazil’s U23 training camp.
