The Los Angeles Clippers recently faced off against the Los Angeles Lakers in a battle of the West Coast.
James Harden led the Clippers to a 103-88 victory, pulling off the upset to help L.A. earn its seventh win of the season. With the win over the Lakers, the Clippers advanced to 7-21 while the Lakers fell to 19-8. Harden took over the offensive end, earning a double-double against Los Angeles. He was aided by Kawhi Leonard, who posted a 30-ball over the rival.
In the win over the Lakers, Harden wrote his name in the history books. James Harden moved into 12th all-time in assists, passing Andre Miller. He’s currently accumulated 8,525 assists in his career.

The following players are ranked ahead of James Harden on the all-time assists list in NBA history: Gary Payton, Isiah Thomas, Oscar Robertson, Russell Westbrook, Magic Johnson, Mark Jackson, Steve Nash, LeBron James, Jason Kidd, Chris Paul and John Stockton.
Stockton leads the NBA in all-time assists with 15,806 in his career with the Utah Jazz. He holds a strong lead over the No. 2 player on the list, Chris Paul, who’s posted 12,552 assists in his career.
James Harden finished the win over the Los Angeles Lakers with 21 points and 10 assists, while Kawhi Leonard also had a phenomenal night with 32 points and 12 rebounds.
