Nets’ Nic Claxton suspended for sixth flagrant foul point

Brooklyn’s center has been suspended one game for accruing his sixth Flagrant Foul point of the 2024-25 regular season. 

NEW YORK – Brooklyn Nets center Nic Claxton has been suspended one game without pay for accruing his sixth Flagrant Foul point of the 2024-25 regular season, it was announced today by Joe Dumars, Executive Vice President, Head of Basketball Operations.

Claxton, who entered Monday’s game with five Flagrant Foul points, received a Flagrant Foul 1 with 9:24 remaining in the fourth quarter of the Nets’ 107-99 loss to the Washington Wizards at Capital One Arena. Claxton will serve his suspension tomorrow when the Nets host the Oklahoma City Thunder at Barclays Center.
