Next Week” – Liverpool Handed Massive Injury Boost Following Klopp Update

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp says he hopes Mo Salah will return to light training “next week”.The Egypt international picked up a hamstring injury while playing for his country in the second leg of the Africa Cup of Nations group stage last month and was asked to present a player’s fitness report at a pre-match press conference .

“We are heading in the right direction. Hopefully he’ll be in training next week, we don’t know, but we’ll have to wait and see. Connor Bradley remains on sick leave, while Kostas Tsimikas (fracture), Joel Matip (ACL) and Stefan Vaisetic (hamstring) remain unavailable.Thiago Alcantara suffered another injury. The Spaniard made his first appearance of the season in the 3-1 defeat to Arsenal after recovering from a hip injury. However, he is currently struggling with a muscle problem and is expected to be ruled out of Burnley.
