We’re into the final couple of months of Jürgen Klopp’s reign at Liverpool. As emotional as his farewell might be, it could also end up being a thrilling one.

Rúben Amorim is the new favorite to become the next Liverpool manager. The reaction to that has been somewhat mixed among Liverpool fans, although the disappointment of missing out on Xabi Alonso might go some way to explaining it.

 

Amorim though shouldn’t be seen as just a consolation prize. His work with Sporting CP has seen him linked with a move to the Premier League for some time now, and he could be on course to secure a second league title this season.

Should Liverpool get its man, there are three players in particular who could stand to benefit most. Amorim will no doubt be very familiar with Diogo Jota and Darwin Núñez, but Dominik Szoboszlai could also reap the benefits.
