Harry Soutar could leave the King Power Stadium once a deal is reached for Jarrell Quansah.
Leicester City have been keeping a close eye on Liverpool centre-back Jarrell Quansah, according to Alan Nixon.
The Foxes are keen to bring in a centre-back during the January transfer window to strengthen their squad enough to give them a strong chance of promotion to the Premier League.
It’s not a huge problem area right now, but Vout Face, Yannick Vestergaard and Conor Coady are great options at this level, and their depth could determine whether or not they secure two spots.
They may have started the season well, but Leeds United will be feeling better after back-to-back defeats against the Foxes before the international break, while some teams, including the Whites and Southampton, may feel they still have a chance. Of victory.
Win offers automatic promotions. With less than halfway through the season and plenty of work to do, the January transfer window could bring big changes.
Looking at their squad, adding another winger and striker could help if Patson Daka leaves, but Enzo Maresca would be wise to consider his centre-back position as well.
Coady, Doyle, Fays, Harry Sauttar and Yannick Westergaard are in that division, but Doyle has spent part of the season at left-back and could return to replace James Justin as he recovers from a knee injury.
With that in mind, the Foxes are currently going through a tough 46 league season, so they lack the depth in central defense that they could do with injuries in that area.
With the possibility of such a large suspension, Srivaddhanaprabha is unlikely to be reluctant to invest in a new centre-back, especially given the amount of money generated from player sales in the previous transfer window.
With Leicester having the option to add another loanee to the squad, Quansah could be a cheap and suitable signing.
Jarrell Quansah Given that Quansah will be competing with Suts, some might argue that the arrival of the former will not bode well for the latter. But even without Quanza at the club, Suttar’s playing time could be limited.
Coady could step in if Face or Westergaard aren’t available, and Doyle could also work if Maresca wants to keep Justin in the starting lineup.
Quansah’s arrival could see Suttar disappear from the first team altogether, at which point Suttar would be perfectly justified in handing in a transfer request.
