Steve Nicol believes Liverpool could not win the Premier League or Champions League if Wataru Endo was their main midfielder.Wataru Endo proved to be a good signing for the Reds.

Steve Nicol says Liverpool should sign Wataru Endo’s new contract. And the 30-year-old footballer does not seem to be the man to replace Fabinho following the departure of the Brazilian.

Of course, Steve Nicol has suggested to ESPN that Liverpool need to secure an upgrade in this position as soon as possible if they are to stay at the top of the Premier League.”It’s a good signing. The center of the park was the area most in need of change.

And they succeeded. “I don’t think I’m ready yet,” he told ESPN.”I think they absolutely need to sign a defensive midfielder. Endo does his job. But defensive midfielder Endoro can’t win the Premier League or the Champions League.

Liverpool don’t tend to make rash decisions in the transfer market, but I wonder if these numbers have had an impact on their January plans.
