Jurgen Klopp’s full match schedule for Sunday afternoon’s game against Brentford at Anfield.

“It’s nice to come home after three games. The games at Bournemouth and Luton were as difficult as expected and produced mixed results, but due to print deadlines I am writing this before the Europa League group stage game in Toulouse.

“Whether the game has happened or not yet, my attitude towards my opponents will not change. They all pose challenges and that certainly applies to Sunday’s opposition. What impresses me most every time I watch Brentford play is that they are a team with many ideas.

“This is certainly a testament to the hard work of Thomas Frank and his coaching staff, but it also has an impact on the players as they have to implement these ideas in difficult circumstances. So it’s clear that Brentford is a club with a strong identity, a vision on the pitch and a way of working that allows management and players to get the best out of each other.

I’d say it’s not that bad.“Their table position this season reflects this, the first half not far from the European table. I couldn’t respect Brentford more. So I welcome Thomas, his staff and the players to Anfield. They will only come to us for a good test.

“The good news is that I’m sure Thomas will say the same to the players. I want to say again that this is a team I really like right now. That doesn’t mean it isn’t perfect. Because it isn’t. But this team is full of personality, passion, talent and quality.

There’s a lot to love.“But we’re still looking for stability and it’s really a work in progress. What we do on the training ground and AXA matches will certainly help us. But we’re still at the beginning of a difficult journey, so we’d better make the most of every moment. Accelerate our progress.”We started the season well, but we could have done better. I really like that because it shows that we can get results even in the build-up phase.

Now it’s time to take the next step, which I’m excited about because there’s clearly a lot of potential.”Unfortunately, we have to talk about singing tragedies again. I usually don’t want to do this job because I’m afraid of paying attention to people who aren’t qualified for it.

But I also know that there are people to whom I owe a debt, particularly the families and survivors of Hillsborough and those affected by the football tragedy.

“It’s not about a particular club or a particular group of fans. It’s about football as a whole and how we look after and protect those who need our support. When we have an issue with a particular song causing distress to LGBT supporters and others, we do our best to listen to those affected by the song and make it clear that it is unacceptable. The song’s tragedy will be no different. “We need to listen to the victims.

Especially in this case, there are people who have suffered too much and shouldn’t have to. We need to make sure this stops now.“Ahead of kick-off on Sunday, everyone at Anfield, including those watching the home game, will take a moment to remember what this time of year is like.

I know some in the audience will have served in the military and others who have lost family and loved ones to the conflict. Although I am not from this country, I have always seen this unique custom described as commemoration.

“When I remain silent, I have the opportunity to express gratitude for the sacrifices that have made freedom possible and to pray that humanity will learn from the mistakes of the past and move forward. “I hope that whoever comes to mind in these thoughts comes to mind with a heart full of love and kindness,” he said.
