Alexander-Arnold is having an impressive campaign at the English club but has missed a lot of games due to injuries. The English talent has participated in 29 matches for Liverpool this season, scoring two goals and grabbing ten assists on all fronts.

The 25-year-old has been a consistent performer in both halves based on his average of 1.3 tackles, 1.1 interceptions, 1.6 clearances, 1.4 shots, 2.5 key passes and 1.2 dribbles per 90 minutes in the Premier League. He has also taken care of the ball when distributing possession from midfield after completing 79.2% of his attempted passes in the English top tier (stats via whoscored).

Alexander-Arnold is under contract at the Merseyside club until the summer of 2025. Hence, it makes sense for Los Blancos to try and arrange a cut-price move for him in the summer.

Alexander-Arnold is a solid tackler of the ball and can time his challenges well to secure possession back for his team inside his half. He doesn’t mind clearing his lines when the opposition are on the offensive but can sometimes have trouble tracking back to defend when needed.

The English talent can strike the ball with power and accuracy from long range. He has got the vision to engineer a few promising chances for his teammates in the final third and is a decent dribbler with the ball at his feet.

At 25, Alexander-Arnold is about to enter his prime and has what it takes to make an immediate impact at Real Madrid if Carlo Ancelotti can devise a way to bring him on board this summer. He is good enough to earn a regular starting spot at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium in the coming seasons.

The English playmaker would bring more quality to Ancelotti’s first team and could even help the Madrid club challenge for some major honours over the next few years. With all things considered, Ancelotti would be wise to go all out to snap him up this summer.
