Liverpool have revamped their midfield this summer following the departure of several key figures including Fabinho and Jordan Henderson.
Most of the stories were about Jude Bellingham’s dreams and desire. Most Liverpool fans were realistic enough to realize that wasn’t going to happen.
But one transfer deal that got them off the bench and putting smiles on their faces was the £70m deal for midfielder Dominik Szoboslai.
The 23-year-old has had a decent start at Liverpool, but not for Rio Ferdinand, who thinks “everyone is praising him”, he told Vibe and Five.
The versatile midfielder can be based on the number 6 or number 8. Dominic Szoboslai’s ability to carry the ball is outstanding.In his first few months at Anfield, he was virtually flawless.
Although I’ve had a few minor issues recently and now I’m injured. Despite all this, Rio Ferdinand has told Liverpool fans he is overrated.

In the next few years this would be a much better transfer and someone like Ferdinand could have egg on his face.
Szoboslai’s games are action-packed and suit Jurgen Klopp’s core. Although he looked tired during the festive season, he proved his worth once again with a good performance after returning from injury.
And with Liverpool leading the Premier League, a player like Szoboszlai and his form will be vital to winning the title again in the middle of the park.
