Ryan Gravenberch sends warning to Liverpool teammates amid Premier League goal prediction

Ryan Gravenberch, the Dutch midfielder who recently joined Liverpool from Bayern Munich, has shed light on the physical challenges of playing in the Premier League. Gravenberch, who struggled for game time during his stint in Germany, has found a place in the Liverpool team and has made significant contributions with two goals and two assists in 11 appearances.

In an interview with Premier League Productions (via LFC), Gravenberch expressed his admiration for the intensity of the English top-flight, stating that it is unlike anything he has experienced before. He acknowledged that the Premier League is widely regarded as the number one competition in the world and highlighted the physical demands it places on players.

“There is more intensity, and also physically [it is harder],” he said. “I think the Premier League is the number one competition in the world. It’s different from where I came from.

“For me, I am enjoying playing again, being on the pitch, playing with my teammates and showing everything I can. That is good for me as a person and as a player that I can do that again.”

Liverpool’s next match sees it facing Luton Town at Kenilworth Road. Despite the significant gap in points between the two teams, Gravenberch cautioned his teammates against underestimating their opponents and stressed the need to be at their best to secure all three points.

“There are no easy games,” Gravenberch said. “There is not one single team that is bad, or not good. Every single game, you have to give everything. That’s the Premier League. I [have] seen the stadium, it’s different from normal! I’m excited to go there.”
