Shaquille O’Neal signs $15 million extension with TNT

Shaquille O’Neal signs a long-term deal worth $15 million with TNT, and will remain a part of the Inside the NBA crew, alongside Ernie Johnson, Kenny Smith and Charles Barkley. 

Shaquille O’Neal re-signed with TNT to remain a part of the Inside the NBA crew, alongside Ernie Johnson, Kenny Smith and Charles Barkley.

According to Front Office Sports Shaq and TNT agreed to sign a long-term deal worth around $15 million per year. All of the other members of the Inside the NBA crew had already signed long-term deals to stay with the TNT.

Due to TNT losing its license to broadcast NBA starting next season, the Inside the NBA show will be exclusively distributed on ESPN.

Shaq is one of the highest paid sports media figures in the world. The highest is NFL legend Tom Brady, who earns $37.5 million annually. Charles Barkley ranks second, earning around $21 million dollars a year.
