Chicago Bulls rookie Matas Buzelis has officially been named as an injury replacement for the 2025 NBA Rising Stars Game, stepping in for New Orleans Pelicans rookie Yves Missi, who suffered a knee injury. The highly anticipated event will take place during NBA All-Star Weekend at the Chase Center in San Francisco.

 

Buzelis, a 20-year-old forward, has been turning heads with his recent performances, averaging 14.1 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks per game over his last eight appearances. His efficiency has been outstanding, shooting 59.7% from the field and 42.4% from beyond the arc, making him a well-deserving addition to the game.
