The Feb. 6 NBA trade deadline is just a few days away and the Phoenix Suns are expected to make some major changes to their roster. Phoenix currently sits 10th in the Western Conference standings with a 25-24 record. They are coming off two disappointing losses to the Portland Trail Blazers and are now tied with the Golden State Warriors for the final Play-In spot. With the Suns barley in a Play-In spot, they are desperately trying to upgrade their roster ahead of the trade deadline. Of course, they are aggressively pursuing Jimmy Butler from the Miami Heat, but with Bradley Beal unwilling to waive his no-trade clause, they may have ot look elsewhere.
A recent report indicated that the Suns have some interest in acquiring a young forward from the Warriors, but they may have to give up one of their star players to do so. According to NBA insider Jake Fischer, the Suns have a ‘level of interest’ in Warriors forward Jonathan Kuminga.
