Fulham’s chief executive has flown to Brazil to hold talks with Fluminense star Andre in a bid to stop Liverpool and Manchester United from signing the midfielder.
Andre starred for the Brazilian giants, making 55 appearances in all competitions and helping the club win the Copa Libertadores for the first time in their history. He achieved this at the age of 22 and attracted the attention of several top clubs.

The London outfit will actively support Marco Silva in January after he signed a new contract. He refused to move to Saudi Arabia. According to the Evening Standard, Andre is one of the main targets of the winter transfer window.
The 22-year-old flew to Brazil for closed-door talks last week in a bid to make progress in his search for chief executive Alistair Mackintosh. He then participated in the final of the Copa Libertadores, where Andre played for 120 minutes.In fact, the midfielder played every minute of Fluminez’s entire campaign in that tournament.

Fluminès president Mario Wittencourt admitted in January that he had resigned following Andre’s defeat. But Bittencourt has warned that selling his star midfielder would cost him a record amount of money. “We are waiting. There is no concrete offer for Andre today,” he told Globo.
“But we are confident that huge offers will come after the Club World Cup, when the World Cup is played.”This could be the biggest sale in the club’s history.
“We may lose both (Andre and defender Nino) but we will try to replace them.”Andre’s agent also canceled a meeting with Flumin leaders earlier this year. He said there is an agreement for the midfielder to leave in the winter transfer window.
