You may have wondered what Harvey Elliott was celebrating after scoring his goal against Crystal Palace.
Ibrahima Konate can shed some light on us all. The 20-year-old scored Palace’s first legitimate goal of the season in another valuable comeback win. His passion for leading his team to greater heights was clear for all to see.
After finding the back of the net in the 91st minute of the first half, Elliott knelt down and walked towards the fans, receiving hugs from his teammate However, when things settled down and he had some free time, he released another work on the Japanese anime series Dragon Ball
Ibrahima Konate was kind enough to film the scene for us, demonstrating the Kamehameha move from the TV series that Elliott used as inspiration for the celebration. It is formed when the cast arms are drawn and focused into a single point, as you see Elliot, and then the arms are thrust forward to release a powerful beam of energy. Liverpool’s number 5 is a huge anime fan and has made a name for himself with his moves on the pitch. He regularly posts his moves in various series on social media after Liverpool’s win.The two have bonded well and we hope to see more of Konath and Elliott throughout the season – the former has yet to open our account this season.
There are plenty of options in motion and we liked Elliott at Selhurst Park, as did Conate.
