The North Carolina Tar Heels basketball program hosted a big weekend during the football team’s home opener against East Tennessee State on Saturday. Not only did the Tar Heels welcome back several former players to be recognized at halftime, but they also hosted two very important recruits. And they are getting set for another big official visit this weekend.
With UNC football hosting Clemson this weekend, five-star point guard Beckham Black will be on campus for his official visit, per Joe Tipton of On3. Black is set to visit Chapel Hill just a weekend after CJ Rosser and Jordan Page were on campus.
This will be a very important Fall for Michael Malone and his staff in terms of recruiting and trying to land some of the top players in the country for the 2027 class.
The 6-foot-3, 180-pound Black hails from Orlando, Florida as he plays at Southeastern Prep. He’s the younger brother of former Arkansas standout Anthony Black, which many believe gives the Razorbacks an advantage in the recruitment.
Black is ranked as the No. 1 overall recruit in the class for by the 247Sports Composite Rankings and would be a HUGE get for Malone and his staff.
