Tsimikas explains Salah’s gratitude and the importance of the performance against Brentford.

Kostas Tsimikas paid tribute to Mohamed Salah after the Egyptian scored two more goals in Liverpool’s win over Brentford on Sunday.

Salah scored an assist as Manchester United climbed to second in the Premier League in a 3-0 win at Anfield, becoming the first player in the club’s history to score in all of their first six home games of the competition.

Tsimikas then reflected on Salah’s incredible performance. Salah’s forward is now two shy of Liverpool’s 200 goal tally. And there was also the support I recently received from Number 11 on a personal level.

“I can’t say enough about Mo,” the Greece international told Liverpoolfc.com

“[He is] a fantastic player and even more fantastic as a person.”I always try to ask him everything. He is the one who can help me with everything that happens in my life.

“About the importance of victory for him…

Ah, this performance was one of the best. I wanted to play well and help the team get three points. It was very important for me because the previous game was not the best game I played for the team. So I wanted to burn. So I’m very happy about that.

Showing character after last tough game…

I can not explain. It wasn’t the best football with the teams I’ve played with over the years. This has never happened to me. I always try to do well in this series of matches. Like I said, I just wanted to focus and remember that I’m a better player because I’m here and that was one of the mistakes against Toulouse. , and it doesn’t affect me.

That’s what I showed to the outside world..

About the meaning of the three points…It was very important for the team. Obviously we are going with the national team now and when we come back it will be a very important match.

I believe it is very important to build on these achievements and results to take the next step. Of course, there are still many areas for improvement. Everything is in front of us and we have to fight for it.

Virgil van Dijk’s uniform…I think he is in one of the best moods of his football life. He is our captain and is always with us. It is currently in very good condition. I am very happy for him. He works hard and is always focused.

He leads the team perfectly and we listen to him and play together. We defend as a group, we defend together, we attack together. Some teams need to play good defense to win. We have both, so there is nothing to fear in life.

About future work…

This was a very big step for us. We wanted to win and I think it showed from the first moment to the last moment.
