The Golden State Warriors, correctly, have determined that the only way they can save their season is by trading for a star. Apparently, pretty much every All-Star has been inquired about, but the Warriors are focused on LeBron James and Kevin Durant. The Los Angeles Lakers added Luka Doncic this weekend, so the Lakers almost certainly want to see how he and James play together this season. That makes Durant the most realistic target for the flailing Dubs. As the hours tick by and the Feb. 6, 12:00 PM PST trade deadline draws closer, the Warriors are operating with a sense of urgency.
