Liverpool duo Mo Salah and Endo Wataru will miss next week’s FA Cup match against Arsenal, according to the Times.
The two players will leave the country to represent their countries in the Africa Cup of Nations and the Asian Cup starting mid-January.
Endo has become the most popular figure for the week, but in recent weeks, Jürgen Klopp is convinced that Alexis is wrapped in full fitness. But the same cannot be said for Salah.
However, Reds will be aware of the situation for some time and a plan must be put in place to limit the impact of his absence.
What would the top three be without Salah?
Now that Diogo Jota is fit again, the Portugal international will hopefully be able to occupy the right side, even if it is not his best position. Harvey Elliott and Dominic Szoboslai could play there if needed. The remaining two forward positions could be filled by Darwin Nunes, Cody Gakpo and Luis Diaz over the next five to six weeks.
