What Virgil van Dijk said to Andre Onana in Anfield tunnel after Liverpool draw with Man Utd

Virgil van Dijk couldn’t help but joke about Andre Onana after Liverpool’s draw with Manchester United. Liverpool have won their last two home games against United 11-0. However, the two teams were held to a scoreless draw on Sunday afternoon, giving them just one point.

Jurgen Klopp’s side had 69% possession and had 34 shots on target, but Onana were rarely tested. As a result Liverpool are second in the Premier League, a point behind leaders Arsenal, when they face them at Anfield next Saturday.

However, Liverpool players and fans were left frustrated by the fact that Onana took his time with each goal throughout the game. And Van Dijk failed to beat the Manchester United goalkeeper in the tunnel after the game.

Van Dijk said of the draw: “There was only one team that wanted to win this game. “Obviously it’s frustrating because we want to win every game and sometimes we could have taken too many easy shots and missed layups. Sometimes the right decisions are not made.”Of course we will continue, but it is disappointing because we were ahead in every way. If they make noise with the scores, we will be disappointed with the scores.”Obviously I’m not doing my best. Coming here will make you wary of the dangers we face. We should have won today. We have to learn from certain situations and I know that.
