While Duke basketball is making its way through ACC play, it’s never too early to take a look at bracketology ahead of the NCAA Tournament.
Ranked No. 6 in both the in the USA TODAY Sports coaches poll and AP poll, the Blue Devils (15-1, 4-0 ACC) have positioned themselves as a projected high seed in most bracketology forecasts, thanks to a strong non conference résumé and an unbeaten start to ACC play.
Coming off back-to-back ranked wins at Louisville and at home vs. SMU, Duke now travels to the west coast for meetings with Cal (Jan. 14) and Stanford (Jan. 17). Duke’s next home contest at Cameron Indoor Stadium is against Wake Forest on Jan. 24.

The Blue Devils are currently No. 4 in the NET (NCAA Evaluation Tool) rankings. Duke is 6-1 in Quadrant 1 games, its lone loss coming to Texas Tech on Dec. 20, and is 9-0 record in Quadrants 2-4. Against the Golden Bears and Cardinal, the Blue Devils have a chance to pick up two more Quad 1 wins this week in California.

Here are the latest NCAA Tournament projections as of Tuesday, Jan. 13.
ESPN: Joe Lunardi has the Blue Devils listed as a No. 2 seed in the East Region, starting things off in Greenville against projected No. 15 seed Long Island.
CBS Sports: CBS projections have Duke as a No. 2 seed in the West Region.
USA TODAY: Projections were not available for this site.
On3: These projections have Duke as a No. 2 seed in the South Region against projected No. 15 seed Lindenwood.
EvanMiya: The Blue Devils rank No. 4 in resume quality, projected to be a No. 1-2 seed.
Torvik: According to Bart Torvik’s T-Ranketology Teamcast, Duke is projected to be a No. 2 seed.
Bracket Matrix: The Bracket Matrix formula considers the preeminent bracketology projections from across the web and averages them out to create a composite 68-team field. Of the 58 brackets tracked by the site, Duke is included on all of them, with most projections putting them in as a No. 1 or No. 2 seed.
