Alonso played 210 games for Liverpool, winning the Champions League, FA Cup, FA Cup and UEFA Super Cup.The Spaniard has three children with his wife Nagor Aranburu, their first son born in 2008 while Alonso was at Liverpool.
Alonso gave birth to his two youngest daughters in 2010 and 2013 during his time at Real Madrid, but previously announced that he would raise his son to be a player who will support Liverpool. “I’m still a Liverpool fan and I always will be,” Alonso said. “The events and experiences that have happened to me over the past five years are still fresh in my mind and my passion and respect for the club and its fans remains the same.
Xabi Alonso was born in the city and raised his son to support Liverpool. Liverpool still have deep roots in Alonso, even though he left Anfield 15 years ago to join Real Madrid.
