“You can’t forget what you were here” – Liverpool legend linked to Premier League Move responds after returning to Anfield


Former Liverpool -star Roberto Firmino was very happy to visit Anfield to view his former club in action in the midst of speculation that he could return to the Premier League. Firmino, 32, was a visitor in Anfield on Monday (January 1) when the side of Jurgen Klopp Newcastle United defeated 4-2 in the Premier League.

The Brazilian was accompanied in the Reds stadium by Fabinho. The experienced striker spoke to the club’s media representatives about his visit and discussed his previous match against the Merseysiders. He said (via the club’s official website):”I’m very happy to be back in my hometown of Liverpool and Anfield Stadium. I thank God for bringing these moments back to me while watching the match.

He scored 111 goals and provided 79 assists in 362 games, winning the UEFA Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup and League Cup. The Blades are reportedly interested in signing the Al Ahli striker, who has not had the best of times in the Saudi Arabian Professional League.
